Ryan Spurr

As Director of Manufacturing Strategy, Ryan Spurr leads the Manufacturing Practice, vertical go-to-market strategy, client engagement, and advisory services. This includes managing a portfolio of solutions focused on operational technology (OT) and information technology that make organizations more digitally excellent.

Ryan has over two decades of experience in business and IT leadership roles, including significant business and technology initiatives and business application delivery in the Aerospace and Defense industries. He has supported significant programs and application support for Joint Strike Fighter and F22 programs, overseen security compliance initiatives for NIST 800-53 and 800-171, CMMC, held security clearances, and worked across the DOD supply chain in the US, UK, and Australia.

As a CNXN Helix Center for Applied AI and Robotics member, Ryan establishes use case-based AI solutions and consultative guidance that combines our deep vertical domain experience and technology portfolio to help clients differentiate, reduce costs, and meet their growth objectives. Examples include integrating edge data across cameras, industrial control systems, process equipment, robotics, sensors, and embedded products to deliver operational improvements in production, quality, supply chain, and workplace safety.
Ryan also participates in industry working groups to contribute to the long-term growth and success of the industrial trade, including co-authoring industry guidance and standards for manufacturers.
